# omavn > Play Windows visual novels on Linux. omavn unwraps whatever was downloaded (nested zips, split RARs, installers), installs it, and launches it natively (Ren'Py) or through Proton in gamescope. Every command accepts --json. Install: `curl -fsSL https://omavn.dev/install.sh | sh`, then `omavn install ` and `omavn run `. ## Docs - [Quickstart](https://omavn.dev/llms.mdx/docs/content.md): From "I bought a visual novel" to playing it on Linux in two commands. - [Installing omavn](https://omavn.dev/llms.mdx/docs/installing/content.md): One command to install, then omavn fetches what it needs. - [Commands](https://omavn.dev/llms.mdx/docs/commands/content.md): Every omavn command.
